Dan Bolton was kind enough to write up a nice review of Isaac’s zine on the might Club Mumble website.

We’ve added 3 new artists to the roster: Lauri Apple, Tully Mills and Benjamin Carr. Look for more information about their upcoming zines over the new few weeks and months.

Parking Block now has a Facebook page. If you are socially inclined please stop by and give it a thumbs up.

New zines? There’s two of them and they are outstanding. Drawing Down the Moon by Dennis Pomales and Moral Guidance by Jason Leisge. Check them out in person at Quimby’s or order them online.

• Parking Block artist Ricky Cozzolino has launched a site for his WTS creatures undertaking. He’s turning into a Colorado crafting kingpin.
• There’s a number of new artists and biographies on the artist page. Learn more about Snacki, Christopher Smith and Porous Walker and welcome Dennis Pomales. Look for Dennis’ zine in June.

Lots of new developments developing for the rest of 2010. Pick up the early releases before they’re gone.

If you are in San Jose you can check out the first four publications at Anno Domino’s Art of Zine show opening this Friday, February 5. Music, zine merchants and a pretty serious collection of xerox wizardry this will be a first rate event.

Shawn Hebrank did the cover artwork and has a feature in the latest issue of I Want Your Skull.

Dominique Holmes is a part of the collaborative Torn Pages show opening February 13th at OhNo! Doom Gallery.

The Beerics gave us a nice little shout out last week. Hopefully will be stirring up some trouble together soon.

Parking Block will be at Chicago Zine Fest – March 12-13. Please plan accordingly.

Issac McKay-Randoozi has a nice interview up on CaliberSF.

Christopher Smith will be showing at Antenna Gallery. There will be a companion publication for this show available in the near future. The show opens Friday February 19, from 6pm-10pm and runs until March 29, 2010.

Jay Croft is part of the Skate and Create show at the Columbia Museum of Art. If you happen to travel through South Carolina please stop and take some pictures.

Shawn Hebrank has been adventuring in Japan. You can follow along at his blog.

I’d like to thank everyone who supported this new undertaking in 2009. In 2010 look for more releases and wider availablity as well as collaborations with some like-minded collectives. It’s going to be a good year.

Chris Smith’s been hard at work. His gallery has recently been receiving numerous accolades and high fives. Most recently the Medicine Cabinet was named the “Best Gallery Space Located in a Bathroom” by New City. His zine “Inland Architect” should be finished soon. Here’s how he describes it. “Taking its title from a century old Chicago based architecture journal,Inland Architect is a story of cast off materials told through a haunted tutorial for survival where isometric descriptions of their absurd assembly drift between vignettes of decimated landscapes then back to rigid design proposals.”

Alex Cohen stopped by to drop off art work and put the finishing touches on his zine. It should be coming out in January. You can read his updated bio on the artist page.
