After an extended hiatus Parking Block with two new releases for the holiday season. Paintings, illustrations and words of wisdom fill Lisa Romero’s “Connections.” Jeremy Tubb’s “Wherever god strikes me down” features photographs of dazed cross country travels and confused late nights.

Over the next few weeks a number of past and future members of the Parking Block roster will be out and about showing art. This Saturday you can check out Brad Westcott’s work up in the Never Rest show in Vancouver. A little closer to home, Tim Pigott is a part of the “Text, Drugs and Rock n Roll show at Maxwell Colette on Friday December, 2nd. You can also check out Alex Cohen and Oscar Arriola at the “Hold Fast To Dreams” show at Believe Inn. Make a night of it!

Next week is the start of the holiday shopping frenzy. Even if you don’t buy a zine from Parking Block this year try and support at least one artist in your holiday purchases. Help people make things happen!
